RIDING

Horse gymnastics

The aim of our training is a gymnastics appropriate to the physique of the horse, taking into account the natural obliquity. It is important to improve the elasticity and balance and to relieve the joints by a stably built-up muscles. Regardless of the field of application of the horse, whether leisure, dressage, gait, western or showjumping horse, a muscle building through proper gymnastics is necessary and useful for all horses of all breeds.

Compensation of natural skew straightening

Due to the natural skew of the horse, the musculoskeletal system is loaded unevenly, the muscles are unevenly developed unilaterally. Since generally too little value is placed on a correct straightening, the overload of a body side is further enhanced by the rider weight. Horses throw themselves in the neck, put themselves on the hand, do not respond to parades, do not leap through gallop, clamp on leg aids, show pain reactions in the back, to name just a few consequences of a lack of gymnastics by lack of knowledge about anatomy and biomechanics. On the straightening, the main focus is healthy horse training! The promotion of mobility through side gears ultimately leads to a straight, balanced horse.

Physiotherapy by riding – Classical training

According to their level of training, we gymnastic horses in side courses such as counter shoulder, shoulder, travers, traversal, renvers. As a result, the horse learns to bend around the inner thigh and improve the outer curl to accept. Above all, the thigh receives the forward in the lateral ducts, since any tendency backwards can cause tension in the back and in the hindquarters. Gradually, the shoulder mobility is improved, so the horse can respond more sensitively to sitting and rein aids. The forehand remains balanced in front of the hindquarters, the horse is straight!

AIt should be noted, however, that the prompt response to leg help forward is the basis of any riding! Sending horses sideways from an exaggerated idea blocks your back as well as a wrong forward tread on the forehand. That’s why the thigh is obedient and the straight forward riding basic building block of our training work!

If the horse becomes more mobile in the kidney area as a result of the lateral mobilization of the spine, the first piaffe steps can be carefully and calmly demanded. Through targeted touch the horse is introduced to an increased back bulge. It is always important that the training takes place with the necessary rest and does not cause any stress for the horse.
The Spanish step improves balance and frees the shoulder, which is beneficial for further learning the passage. Also, the trot reinforcements can be improved!

Motivating – discovering and fostering talents

A real basic education is the basis of our work. During training, a good rider recognizes the special skills of his partner horse. Promoting them makes the horse happy and contributes so decisively to the motivation at work. Not only we are happy about successful steps, kicks and jumps in harmony, lightness and elegance, the horse also enjoys the lesson and the subsequent praise of his man.

Work on the hand – touching

By correct lunging and side gears on the hand, the horse is already prepared without rider weight to the requirements under the saddle. A special feature of our training concept is that we often work “to third parties”. An instructor on the ground supports the rider by direct touch. Thus, movements unknown to horses, e.g. The shoulder can be learned faster, without the rider interfering with too intensive help. Furthermore, by proper touch the gymnastics is improved and a proper muscle gain achieved faster. The goal is a horse who is able to carry the rider weight unscathed and willingly on the finest aids lessons up to the high school performs.
